What is Paws For Love?

Our “Paws For Love” Program is an initiative close to our hearts, dedicated to donating puppies to children and adults with special needs, medical challenges or those suffering from PTSD. We have seen firsthand how the unconditional love and support of a dog can transform lives, providing comfort, stability, and assistance.

Through our “Paws For Love” Program, we partner with families to place our puppies in homes where they are needed most at no cost to the families. Our goal is to bring hope, healing, and happiness to those facing challenging circumstances, one puppy at a time.

Many of our poodles and doodles are well-suited to be raised as service and therapy dogs. Their intelligence and trainability make them ideal companions for those in need of specialized support. These exceptional animals can be trained to perform a variety of tasks, including alerting to medical emergencies such as epileptic seizures, retrieving medication, providing emotional support, and assisting individuals with mobility challenges. We can help start their training as service and therapy dogs as soon as possible to ensure a seamless integration once adopted. However, it is important to note that families will need to continue working and training their puppy past this initial stage.

How to Join Paws For Love

Contact Us! Start by reaching out to us via phone, email, or our website’s contact form. Our dedicated team is ready to listen and guide you through the process. Be sure to provide your contact information and a brief overview of your situation.

Share your story with us! Explain Your Situation. We are interested in understanding your medical needs, PTSD challenges, or special circumstances. Please describe how a dog could make a positive impact on your life and help your daily needs that way we can help start its training for you as soon as possible. Please note that we can help with training initially but once you take the puppy home it is your responsibility to finish training the dog to fulfill your needs.

Puppy Matching! If approved, we will help match you with one of our available dogs. This matching is based on which one of our puppies we believe is most suitable to fulfill your needs. You of course will be able to help in the decision as well! We want to ensure that the bond you form is a perfect fit, enhancing your quality of life and well-being.

Time to take your puppy home! After we find your perfect match, the adoption process will be completed at no cost to you. We will help schedule a pick up date and you can take your puppy home so you and your new companion can build a strong, loving relationship.
